During this unprecedented time of quarantine, JASWDC and Jennifer Swanson are partnering to offer kids in the DC metro area a chance to socialize in English during the week.

皆さん、こんにちは！外出がなかなかできない中、いかがお過ごしですか。ワシントンDC日米協会はジェニファー先生と一緒にお子さんが、学校がお休みの間でも英語に触れあうことができるよう、Zoomを使ったクラス、Time for English with Jennifer senseiを開講することにしました。

 

We know everyone has unique needs and English levels, but we invite all kids to join to make new friends and practice English live with professional teacher Jennifer.

お子さんそれぞれ、英語のレベルやニーズは違うと思いますが、このクラスではジェニファー先生と英語に楽しく触れることができ、クラスを通して新しいお友達を作ってもらえる、そんな機会になればと思います。

 

Some activities we may do in Time for English:

  • story time – listen to and respond to a story in English
  • creative writing – write and share a simple story together in English
  • show and tell –show classmates one item explain about it
  • break into two level groups for flashcard practice, sentence writing
  • riddles, guessing games, mystery item games and more

There are two groups on Thursday, May 14:

Kindergarten – 2nd grade 3:30-4:15pm

3rd grade-5th grade 4:30-5:15pm

-英語でお話を聞こう
-英語で作文を作ってみよう
-Show and Tell
-英語でなぞなぞやクイズゲームをしよう。

2020年5月14日(木) (両日もしくはどちらかのお日にちの参加でも大歓迎です。)

時間: 午後3時30分から4時15分 (Kindergarten – 2nd grade)

午後4時30分から5時15分(3rd grade – 5th grade)

締め切り: 各開催日の前日午後12時まで
