The Japan-America Society of Washington DC is proud to once again be collaborating with the National Philharmonic and DC Sake, Co. to bring you an engaging virtual classical music and sake experience that you can participate in right at home. For this event, the National Philharmonic will be performing Vivaldi’s “Summer,” which attendees can enjoy with “First Run,” a vibrant, fruity Japanese sake from Nagano Prefecture that perfectly encapsulates the sweetness of summer. Additionally, listen to a talk from our featured guest, violinist Regino Madrid, assistant concertmaster of The National Philharmonic at Strathmore and regular performer with the National Symphony Orchestra! It’s time to savor the long days and hot nights of summer, and we at the Japan-America Society of Washington DC feel there’s no better way to do so than with beautiful music and sake!
